Kirby's memorial barber shop near memorial city mall
I got one recently at V's, but was disappointed. I could do better myself with a few passes with my DE razor. The hot towels and rest were a nice touch, though.
Doug's on 11th.

This thread comes up about as often as the Best Burger and Best Steak, maybe we should get it added to the guide to the tine?

Doug has personally given me 2 straight razor shaved and BOTH times I had to reshape when I got home. I do not recommend him.
Best burger, best steak, best date place, driving ranges ITL, places to go to downtown/Washington, which bars on Washington suck, best DMV

If you go to Doug's get Richard to do one, he's good
Mens Barber Shop is the best by far if your in west houston. Went to some place on Richmond Ave. last week called Henry's and it was cheap $10. Not sure how good though.

Might as well ask for spring/woodlands as well .
Last few times I've gone to get one I'll call and ask if they do a straight razor. I get told yes and then when I show up it's a guarded one.
I want a razor where I have flashes of godfather going through my head at least once during the shave.

The owner used to work at The Art of Shaving when it was at the Woodland's Mall.
He left and opened his own place providing the same service.
Vinny is a master of the straight razor.

Doug died a few years ago.
Jay's Barber Shop in Oak Forest. Great guys with a lot of interesting conversation, too. Hour-long haircuts. It's the real deal.
