AGMARAUDER04... Has the principal for Sawyers started interviewing yet? Also, is the district placing all the excess somewhere in the district? My wife teaches 5th math/science. We live in Fairfield and she is thinking about moving over to the middle school if she can. Any help would be appreciated.

TxK...the Salyards Principal does not actualy "take the reins" until March 21st. The district claims no one is being fired. Unfortunately for your wife, principals are told to consider/place excess personnel first, then transfer requests. Your wife has a shot, just not a great one, unless she is deemed excess by her school.

thanks.. She understands Excess should be placed first. She is at a new school in the district and is afraid IF they have to excess anymore teachers she may be excessed. They have excessed 6.. but the principal is not absolutly certain that is all...
