Supposed to open this weekend. I just got back from there. They were training their employees today so we enjoyed a nice free lunch.

It's not exactly what I expected though. I went to the Memorial location a lot when I worked down there, so I figured this might be the same. They say this new location is the "new generation" of Otto's. I was expecting rustic decor, but it's a little modern. They have new fish dishes (I had the red snapper) and other items that I don't recall on the menu. Burgers and BBQ are still a staple on the menu. The food was still really good. In about two weeks, they'll start serving breakfast too.

So is this related to the Otto's in the downtown tunnels as well that serves BBQ and burgers?

There's also an Otto's in the Houston Center downtown, IIRC.

Sass - yes, it's the same outfit. If you're familiar with LaCenterra, it's where Johnny Rockets use to be a few years ago.

Went to Otto's for breakfast last weekend. Pretty dang good!
