What's the best lean-centric song? I believe the nominee should have some sort of commercial success and have some historical significance (i'm leaving off a host of post 2000 songs because the movement had already swelled, and had even swelled, although to a lesser extent, by the time my below nominated songs hit).
Three Six Mafia - Sippin on Some Syrup

RP Cola - Too much lean in my cup.

Big Moe - Purple stuff.

Three Six is clearly the odd man out here given that they are from memphis rather than the tine. However, considering that it's the most commercially successful of the three and the song's brilliance was pretty much fueled by UGK, it gets included. The song is credited with bringing national awareness to the use of lean.
RP Cola's masterpiece is tough to top. It's the only one on here with a screwed sequence. And in this case it happens to be the chorus, which is about as memorable of a chorus as has been been put out by any tine area rapper. Hell, the line is still oft used 10+ years later.
All that being said, I think i have to go with Big Moe. Even though the song hit a couple of years after the above songs, the video is simply magnificent. And truth be told, the time lapse did not factor into my inclusion of this song, as Big Moe is as influential to the movement as anyone. Sippin codine is one the best songs on one of screws best albums from the mid 90s. Big Moe's entire career is lean-centric. And his slow, rap singing style is the epitome of the drink itself (without actually being screw, of course).
