When y'all say buffalo burger is it actually buffalo meat? Cause I tried one of those one time and it was too damn lean

i forgot to give a shout out to Tornado Burger in Stafford. Damn good burgers, but small. And you have to order them "spicy" they ground up jalapeno and garlic into the ground beef. You have to at least get a double or triple.
Houston Press calls them the best fast burger.

5-10 years ago I tried my one and only buffalo meat burgers from Bubba's and thought it was a tad too lean/dry and a little gamey aftertaste.

lefty you are right. unfortunately they are not on 100% of the time. last time i was there mine was too well done and dry as a result. but when theyre on theyre on.
PO's in cypress makes a great burger. i think they also have ostrich if you're feeling crazy.
Just went to a new place called "Cheeburger Cheeburger" in the new Vintage shopping center off 249/Louetta. It was very good and very kid friendly!

Man, I forgot all about Bellaire Broiler Burger. I used to eat that like twice a month! That's some good stuff. Decor looks like some of the truckstop diners back in the 80's. It used to be cash only. Have they updated to the ninety's and started to accept cards yet?

cheeburger = crapburger. not in the same zip code as the christins, bubbas, lankfords in houston.

we've got a burger club going at work. we grade the place and give our thoughts. next up is christian's totem. so far (we've only done 3) bellaire broiler burger is the top spot.
the 5 guys that I went to the other day off of voss didn't seem as good as I remembered the one in DC being
we just visited little big's, but i was a bit underwhelmed.

2nd place goes to Beck's Prime.
Not sure how you guys vote a Bubba's buffalo burger. I've eaten there a couple of times and those things are too dry and have a slight gamey after-taste... Healthy, yes. But a mmm-mmmm good juicy burger, no way.

the next TAMC meeting this weekend will include a trip to Christians Totem for lunch as well as go karting.
