We are looking for a wedding reception location with a rustic atmosphere similar to the pictures below. We're getting married in Bedford, so something near there is preferable. Guest list is at 300 right now.

Any ideas???

lol sorry I misread it, I was thinking rehearsal dinner, not reception. If they had a large private room a reception could work.

Yeah, maybe something a little more elegant than Bass Pro Shops. I'll have a hard time selling that one to the future in-laws.

The Ashton Depot is pretty cool. It's not rustic necessarily, but it's the old Fort Worth train depot from the late 1800's with the original stained glass. It's expensive, but pretty cool.

The Fort Worth Zoo has a room that's similar, and it's used for weddings, parties, etc.

Bluebonnet Café
Invite your guests to spend an evening enjoying a beautiful Texas sunset mural inside the Bluebonnet Cafe. Seating accommodations are available both inside and on a patio that is perfect for stargazing. Surrounded by the turn-of-the-century Texas Town with an Old West atmosphere, the cafe takes you back in time. Available for groups of 100-750.

I'm really liking the idea of having it at the zoo. I would have never thought of that.

Alright, the zoo is out! Reception can only be from 8-11p, too expensive and must use their caterer.

Any other ideas?

Circle R Ranch in Flower Mound?

I bet it is $$$, but worth a shot. Maybe a bit of a hike from HEB.

If you posted this question the knot.com message boards, I bet you would get a much better response. Those girls are very helpful and full of knowledge.

I think Circle R Ranch in Flower Mound would work. We did a lot of stuff out there in high school (Young Life, etc.)

It is a drive from Dallas, but since you are going to be in HEB anyways, it may not be too far.

I've no time for searching, so I'll just take whatever comes and ask:

What is "HEB?"
