have had goffs, pretty good, and fun to take unsuspecting friends to, if they dont know the routine on ordering.

northwest point on northwest hwy is pretty good, if you dont mind smelling like an ash tray when you leave.

jg's blah.

hoping to find something close to koppe bridge, now thats a tastey burger!!!

Is Goff's still open. It looked closed about a month ago when I last drove by.

Adair's. Burger House on Mockingbird. And if you're ever in Southlake, head to Johnny B's for a great substitute for In n' Out.

Ball's Hamburgers (Snider Plaza near SMU or at NW Hwy. and Midway), best in town.

Also, try Angry Dog in Deep Ellum, or Snuffers.

Adair's; Angry Dog; Snuffers; Jake's; Keller's Drive Inn; Lakewood Landing

Goff's moved from Lovers Lane to Hillcrest across from SMU and the old man retired.

Agree with Adairs, Snuffers, Jake's, Keller's. Not into the Angry Dog burgers. Balls has a good burger if you don't mind them a bit undercooked.

Agreed Ferris. The MAT's Hickory Burger is great.

Jake's is very good.

I need to try Snuffers.

My vote goes to Jake's.

Sounds like I need to give the Angry Dog burger another try. Maybe I just got unlucky those days. It's hard not to order the Angry Dog itself though.

i saw keller's on the mens' health list of 10 burgers to eat before you die. i think it was the only texas place on the list. is it really that good? and if so, where in the hell is it?

jake's is the best burger i've eaten in dallas.

All the above are darn good.

Also, the Main St. Cafe in downtown has good burgers.

Keller's is on Northwest Highway, a little east of Abrams. Yum!!!
I'm not sure why it was listed in Men's Health, because it is anything BUT healthy!

There is nothing unhealthy about Keller's cheese tator tots.

Kincaids in FW is hands down the best burger in the state - and has been voted the best in the nation multiple times.

But we'd prefer you Dallas types to stay away. Thanks.

I hope Kincaid's in Southlake is not representative of what you will get in FW Kincaids.

i'm not a huge fan of Snuffers. I like Kellers and Chips though. I've been wanting to try out Jakes.

Angry Dog's Chili-Cheese Burger is damn hard to beat IMO. Just Chili & Cheese on it, nothing else.

I'm hungry now ...

Forget what everyone else said, the best burger in Dallas hands down is the 1/2 pound Kobe beef burger from Who's Who Burger in Highland Park Village. I've tried all of those listed above except Jake's, and I still think Who's Who is the best. The Kobe beef burger may cost $9 but it's worth every cent.

But that's just one man's opinion . . .

Now, as grego points out, if the question is which burger is the best in the Metroplex, I agree that Kincaid's is right up there at the top. Of course, that wasn't the question, but I think when people say "Dallas" grego thinks you mean the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Although the words "Kobe beef" and "Highland Park Village" do not belong in the same sentence with "burger", I'll have to go check out Who's Who. I've heard some good things.

My nominees have already been mentioned. But I'll skip the burger and head for Bubba's Fried Chicken.

I've never been a big fan of Kincaid's. They're big in size but not flavor. I like Al's in Arlington. Corner of Collins and Green Oaks.

Snuffers is a good backup.

I love threads like this.

Snuffers is damn good stuff, I'm glad I'm working near the one on Greenville.
Keller burgers are really good if you're in the area. I hate that they only accept cash.

Al's is great if you're in Arlington.
I still need to go try Kincaid's. There's one in Southlake now, which is a bit closer to me.
I recently tried Buck's Prime on Market Center Blvd. Not bad, tastes like the burgers you would cook in the backyard.

For a fast food burger, I recently tried Burger Street. That was pretty good for fast food.

That Kobe beef burger sounds damn good. That may be next on my list to try. Jakes, and Adairs also sound pretty good.
