Friday afternoon is Jumu'ah, which is like the holy day of obligation for Muslims. It starts around 1:30 PM, so be prepared for a lot of confrontation (if that's your goal).

I'm closer to Park and Independence so hopefully I'm far from all the action. What's both funny and sad is there's a little baptist church near my house and while I don't have any interest in attending, a part of me wants to "tithe" in hopes it's never sold to...someone else. Eek!

I think they are standing for religious freedom (liberty or death flag) and celebrating the Quran (come and take it flag that has a scroll on it). All while celebrating being able to do so in Texas.
