We used Lap of Love, and the vet they sent was great. Very patient with us and our pooch. We didn't have any time to look at other places, needed something quick for his sake.

Much better experience than taking him to the vet. Only negative was I did have to help load him in her car after, but I imagine that would be the case with a bigger dog and anyone you use.

Sorry. Horse got colic this week and didn't recover after surgery. Wife had to make the decision to euthanize over expensive low success rate second surgery. Have to tell the kids this afternoon

I am so sorry you are going though this. I used Peaceful Pathways a few years ago and would recommend. Doing at home was much preferred and removed a lot of stress from the experience for me and my dogs. The vet and assistant treated her with respect and dignity, gave me as much time as I needed after, had a blanket on her as they carried her on a cot to the car. I elected to get her ashes delivered to me after and they were kind and compassionate throughout.

Thank you for all the kind replies. I will table Lap of Love because I don't like the thought of having to help carry, but will definitely look into Peaceful Pathways since they also have a tech come out. Also found Beyond the Rainbow in my search. And bonus, both companies are locally owned by Aggie vets.

We used Dr. O'Halloran at campbellparkvet.com. Very much worth the very minimal extra charge they added for the in home service. I am glad we were able to do at home.
