They're taking the location of the former Fry's Electronics. Will open in 2026. Super pumped...I live in Farmers Branch and currently go to the Plano location. This will be closer and no toll road

H-E-B announces plans to open first Dallas County store (msn.com)

I'm all for reducing the insanely large crowds at Kroger and Walmart on MacArthur.

Wow. I was told they would never open in Dallas County because the DA won't prosecute shoplifters.

My thoughts since our big one opened here in Mansfield.

- I like their barbeque. Inexpensive compared to many bbq places and decent.
- The premade meals are really good. The pre seasoned raw chicken you just grill is excellent.
- I have been disappointed by the produce. Oranges are always sour - apples mushy - stuff goes bad fast. Even Aldi has better produce.
- I do like the salad kits.
- Their store brand frozen dinners are not that good.
- The Creamy Creations ice cream is the best store brand ice cream out there.

Overall, I've kept going to Kroger most of the time.

I'll shop at HEB for their jalapeno bacon and fresh guacamole alone.

Super excited about HEB opening so close to us! If you live in or around Coppell, you should consider subscribing to the Coppell Chronicle, Dan has been on this for a couple of months now, so it's great to see HEB officially announce it!
