This is a longshot, but figured I'd try anyways.

My daughter is looking to get into drums. We live on the Fort Worth side of the metroplex. She'd prefer a female drum instructor, so thought I'd reach out here and see if anyone knows of any options on this side of town. From limited looking online, it appears that drums is an extremely male-dominated instrument.

I'm guessing but what if you contacted tcu music department (percussion) and see if they know anyone. My father in law taught music (opera) at tcu for many yrs.

If you're part of a church, you may want to ask the worship pastor. Even if they don't have someone in their drum rotation that is female, they usually have a larger network outside of the church in the event they need musicians in one off situations.
