We have a "side" exterior door that needs replacing. Previous owner had sprinklers hitting and it has rotted at the bottom. We have tried to patch for a few years but not sure we can keep doing so.

Any recommendations for companies? I would prefer to avoid a window and door company. We plan to replace windows in 2 years just not yet.

Edit: 32 x 96 size.

May also re-do our patio double doors (72x96 with similar design as image below) , master bedroom exterior door (same as below) and garage door (solid wood door).

Just go to Lowes or HD and get a door that matches your dimensions and swing (RH). They have installation services if you aren't up to DIY. It's one door so should be straightforward.

I used HD for this exact type of job about a year ago and the installer did a great job. I DIY'd one at my last house about 10 years ago and it went well too, but was just too busy to mess with it this time.

I had a less than awesome experience recently using HD installation so any other non-HD recs would be appreciate...but maybe they are the best option for this type work....

Any specific recommendations by chance from your line of work?

Unfortunately, I do not have one right now. Been trying to find one for a while to recommend.

For a handyman rec, we used Fred several years ago for a couple projects if you want to give him a try. https://besthandyman.net

I've used Lowe's for the doors on my house. I'm certain I could find a handyman to do it cheaper. But this way if it isn't perfect, I can go yell at Lowe's instead of ranting on Nextdoor/Facebook.

It makes me feel better about it. Limiting downside perhaps.
