Moving my Aggie daughter to Dallas Sunday for internship. We want to watch the Aggie v. Oregon baseball game. She is moving into a garage apartment in Highland Park. Any good sports bars or aggie hangouts in the Highland Park/Oaklawn area?

This place usually has Aggie games on

It is a great dive bar.

In HP/Oak Lawn area, Katy Trail Ice House would be a great place. Also, Happiest Hour is fun and not far from there.

Katy Trail is probably the best bet. Close to Oak Lawn, they have a lot of tvs, a huge outdoor space, and a good beer selection

Nodding Donkey is another option, not quite as close but not that far. Lots of TVs and decent bar food.

This is no where near Oak Lawn.

And it is a much better bar than anywhere listed so far to watch Aggie games.

It's 15 min from HP. Well worth the drive.

King's X ... heard that former Dallas Mav's coach Don Nelson used to visit there after games.

It is a true, iconic Dallas dive bar... can escape the zombie apocalypse there.

Moxie's (i know the one in Plano has a bunch big screens so the one in the Crescent complex prob. is the same) or Frankie's Downtown.

Adding Happiest Hour (in the Harwood district) is worthy.
