We have a serious mouse problem it seems in our house. We heard scratching in between the walls and one space and then we found mouse droppings in two locations. I have no idea how long this has been going on but I'm really worried that it's serious. Any recommendations for professional help on this in the fort Worth area would be greatly appreciated

I have the same problem. I can hear one in the wall by the tub and there are droppings in the attic. Clever little ******* has defeated several different types of traps. Wife refuses to let me use poison.

We had a serious raccoon problem in Dallas (posted on here this spring). First exterminator did not work. We somehow got connected with this guy named Cory who not only addressed our raccoon issue competently, but also is hilarious and super knowledgeable. Plan to be home and talk to this guy for 30 minutes, he is a character. Could not recommend him any more. Not sure if he will come out to FW but I would not doubt it. He is worth a call. His business is called "Critter Git'r" but he does not have much of an online presence or website.

ETA: He specifically talked to us about mouse/rat methods he uses. Apparently a lot of his business is helping clients after Orkin/ABC just use poison and do not seal up entry points. He is experienced in mice and rats as well.

1000% this. Cory is amazing. He'll probably show up barefoot but the dude knows his stuff. Has helped us out a ton and sealed up the house. We even had a rat that got trapped inside our house and was terrorizing us for a few months. Cory took it personally and he would come out and try things to get it for free. Highly recommend.

I have been talking to Cory and he is exactly as advertised. Very nice, has a lot of knowledge. Sadly he doesn't service the fort Worth area because he comes from Greenville just to service Dallas. So I'm still looking for a very good fort Worth guy Corey doesn't know of any. The first quote that I got from terminix was $4,000 for trapping removal prevention and sealing up barriers as well as sanitizing the attic and garage.

Had this problem a couple of years after we bought our house. Tried snap traps and sticky traps. Kept getting worse. Bought a tub of Tomcat Place Pacs from Tractor Supply and threw them in the attic. It didn't take long for them to eat it all up. House stunk to high heaven for a couple of weeks while they all died. I think we only found 2 or 3 of them. I guess the rest went and hid somewhere to die. Haven't noticed a single rat/mouse since, though.

Key is to seal up the entry points first. Set some traps, check them often, and then the problem takes care of itself.

ABC helped us with a rat problem. Very happy with their service.

He came out, after inspection and discussion we decided I could do the job DIY, and he told me exactly how to do it. Wouldn't take my money. It was for a rat issue and I haven't had a problem since following his advice.

Had issue in our attic. Set 2x of the box style live traps, 2x old school mouse traps, and 2x of the old school rat traps. After about a week and ~8 rats later haven't had a problem in a couple months. I'm just leaving them there now in case they come back

If you can borrow a tomcat they will drive away the rodents merely with their scent! That is what they do in Chicago.
