I'm looking to replace my backyard wood fence. Probably doing 7ft cedar board on board. I have a couple quotes that seem pretty dang high per foot but maybe fence costs have gone way up just like everything else.

I'm wondering if anyone here has a strong opinion on who to get another quote from. Thanks!

What price/ft are you seeing? Maybe easier as a first hack for folks to chime in based on that vs getting a bunch more quotes.

Fence prices are high, but it may be that 7' is part of that. My fence company told me that 7' fences price out higher because that board length is not as readily available as 6' or 8'.

These guys did a great job for me a few years back. Quality work. Fair price. The owner was hands on and a pleasure to deal with.

It's looking like about $65/ft for demo and install, not including gates.
