Anyone seen this yet? It's awesome. I was a huge Von Erich fan growing up. Loved going to the Sportatorium. It's dark and sad at times but that was how their story went. Key spots by Skandor Akbar, Harley Race, The Freebirds, Ric Flair, Bruiser Brody, and Gino Hernandez. World Class was the hottest territory in America back in the 80's. Right in Downtown Dallas.

Very well done picture show. Go see it if you haven't.

Glad to hear it.

I graduated high school with the daughter of Kerry Von Erich. She says that the movie does not adequately capture the love that was shared between her family but still recommends the movie.

As a longtime professional wrestling fan, I am looking forward to watching this movie!

pretty good

only a couple issues:
they left out a brother who also shot himself
no one was hooking up at UTD parties in the 80's, if they even happened
they could do an accurate looking sportatorium but the 2023 skyline was good enough?

I watched an interview with the writer/director. In regards to Chris being omitted, he said 1. He was working with time constraints - the movie is already 2 hours and 12 minutes and 2. He did not feel that the movie could handle another death.

I didn't notice the skyline being modern instead of from the 80's. I was too fixated on how they brought that old tin and asbestos building back to life.

I remember watching wrestling on Sunday mornings before going to mass when I was 5-10yrs. I don't remember much but I do remember the von Erich's.

I remember my mom mentioning in years past that she had a connection to the sportatorium. We asked her last night (she's 83) and her uncle was ed mclemore the owner.
