Developer is having trouble finding private financing which is no surprise as no one wants to invest in an area riddled with crime etc. Fort Worth has to spend stimulus money by the end of 2024. Just a cluster with tax dollars. As usual.

That SE quadrant of FW is a tough nut to crack even though there have been a few wins over the years like TX Whiskey. Money probably would have been better spent in Southside where there are still plenty of opportunities even with the gentrification that's been going on the past 20 years.
