We are having our wedding near Retta (halfway between Burleson and Mansfield) next September, and are trying to figure out a good restaurant to have the rehearsal dinner at somewhere reasonably nearby. We will probably do a hotel block in either Burleson or Mansfield, and would prefer to not have guests need to drive more than 15-20 minutes to either our venue or the rehearsal dinner spot. We would prefer a nicer restaurant like a steakhouse.

The only place I have found that checks all these boxes is Meehans in Mansfield, but they can only accommodate 32 people for large parties (we are looking for closer to 50).

Does anyone have recommendations?

I would prefer to have guests stay closer to Fort Worth so we could do the rehearsal dinner somewhere like downtown or the stockyards, but fiance doesn't want people to drive that far. Plus, I'm not super familiar with the Forest Hill/Edgecliff Village area and don't want to ask guests to stay there if it isn't safe/nice.

What would you guys do if it were up to you?

Rio Bravo in Burleson, south of town.
Got a pretty good size room.

Forest hill edge cliff isn't a place I'd recommend at all

What about the rim in burleson or the new heim bbq?

Old Texas Brewing Co in Burleson sky bar would be really cool

Fly by Night Cattle Co in Cleburne if it's not too far.

Fresco's in Burleson is really good and has a private party area

Depends on how much OP really wants to marry the old bag. Decent chance of being shot.

Tierra Verde might be a less gunfire option https://www.arlingtongolf.com/private-event-inquiry

I grew up in the area, sorry I don't have real advice.

Burleson has a Babe's and a Rudy's, those can serve big groups. Rendon has Jambos and you can get it to go. Avoid Forest Hill, Edgecliff, South Hulen areas.

Maybe BooRays in Crowley. I'd see if Southern Oaks will host.

Seriously though, there's a reason why kids from Burleson come to Fort Worth for Homecoming & Prom dance pre-dinners. Everywhere down there, especially in old town, will be packed on a weekend evening, not sure how good your chances are of reserving for a big group.

Fly by night is good, but not sure I'd make my out of town guests navigate there in the dark vs. coming to Fort Worth.
