Need to take my father-in-law to a high end sea food place for his 80th birthday. Any recommendations near the Plano/richardson/frisco area. Thanks

Yes. Hudson House is great too. Ironically, I think the best thing on their menu is their cheeseburger.
I had that on Saturday. It was amazing. So were the oysters.GAC06 said:chick79 said:

Their chicken is great
Because their owner is a ****** bag and deserves zero of your money.TresPuertas said:
no clue how Hudson House hasn't made an appearance on this thread but it should have. it should be your #1 option. great happy hour.
urban seafood is also outstanding.
as said above, Anayas is great for a more casual option.
I looked up that post the other day because of this thread. Guy hasn't posted in quite a while:YouBet said:
I recall someone on here who would comment specifically on Hudson House regarding the quality of their food. In that, it was also frozen crap and nothing was fresh.
I have no idea if that's true.

I actually agree with that poster regarding Hudson house. I've been a few times and it just seems like an upscale Chili's or something. A few things did seem very generic/frozen (it's been a couple years so don't remember what I got, but I haven't wanted to go back). I do like their burger though, which someone mentioned earlier in this thread. Don't think I've had their chicken.
It's fine I guess, but I definitely would not recommend Hudson house for an upscale seafood dinner celebration. I'd rather go to a casual seafood place with great food.
