Hit me with it. Best burger I've ever had was at Wingfield's but looking for something closer to home.

This is going to sound dumb because I've never had it. But I've heard very good things; feed store in southlake

Son of a Butcher (sliders) on 114 is worth checking out.

I've been there. They had some damn good sliders.

We like Jake's, Kincaids and Snuffers. Better ones in the city (chips, Rodeo goat, etc). Feed Store is damn good for what it is, not a top BBQ spot locally but good grub.

Jake's in Grapevine is probably the best burger. Nothing really stands out in Southlake after Johnnie B's closed a couple years ago. Trophy Club Country Club makes a really great burger.

Never really understood the attraction of Feedstore. My nieces love it. It was an actual feed store when I was growing up. Now it's just really bad BBQ.

Hutchins is the best in the area now, by a mile.

Burger in Southlake… I'm going to Kincaids so I can eat fried okra. My daughter really does like shake shack and it's a pretty good option for a a chain. That's pretty much the best we got to offer around here.

Feed store has been crossed off the list for us.

New place in Grapevine called Sauce'd. Haven't been but their smash burgers look amazing. I guess they do pizza too

There is HopDoddy in Glade Parks as well.

If you are in Colleyville there is a Chapps in NRH near 26 and Precinct Line.

Then there is a Mooyah in Colleyville and one in Southlake, but I'd only put that above Whataburger and McDonalds.

Not that the burger is as good as a place like Haystack in Lakewood, but that Chapps is solid. The buns are great. Service is usually suspect, but it's my go to burger around Colleyville. The onion rings are really good too.

Rodeo Goat is probably my favorite DFW burger place these days, I usually frequent the original West 7th location during work but there is one in Cypress Waters (LBJ and Belt Line) for those in NE Tarrant that don't mind a short drive.

One thing (probably the only thing) I miss about working in downtown Dallas is all of the awesome burger places nearby, Angry Dog is my GOAT. To that end, Twisted Root in Bedford and Jake's in Grapevine are two great burger places that have origins in Deep Ellum and Uptown.

Wingfield's: come for the burgers, stay for the entertainment. Or run away, whatever is your preference.

Oh I know it's in a dicey part of town. I've only been when the sun is up.

Kincaid's, Son of a Butcher, and Jake's are all very good. I'd add Bottlecap Alley (Aggie-owned) in north Grapevine.

I believe there's a bottlecap alley also coming to glade parks from the development plans

Peaceburger back in the day was hands down the best. But it shuttered. Kincaids is good but kinda dry and lean - not juicy.

The jalapeño burger at aBoomer Jacks is very good
.
I'd have to say Jakes on Main had the best in the area.

(Shame about Feedstore. At one time its BBQ was very good, but they've really skimped on their portions as prices have risen. Their BBQ is lean and not tasty. )

Makes me miss Johnny B's in Southlake; loved that place before the original owners sold it and the new ones ran in into the ground.

Agreed. Johnny B's was the best smash burger before smash burgers were a thing. And the hand cut fries were unbeatable.

I take that back... the plans I saw were from 2019. So who knows

We eat at Wildwood fairly regularly and I think they have some great burgers. Entire menu is pretty solid in my opinion.

We were in Southlake last night for a football game and my husband insisted we go to Kincaid's after having it with a friend years ago. My family all raved about the delicious burgers, onion rings, crinkle cut fries, and coke floats.

We love their fried catfish! Pat Summerall used to eat there all the time.

I know Kincaids is popular, but I've never understood it. The burgers are bland, IMO.
Jakes in Grapevine and Blue 22 in TC are my top 2.

In my experience, Kincaid's all depends on which one you go to and how old the store is.

That's fair. I went to the one in FW when we first moved here around 17-18 years ago and remember it being pretty good. I've given the Southlake location a couple of shots and wasn't impressed. Haven't been back in a few years. It may very well be better now. I will say, the sides are pretty good.

Looks like there is a new burger place on northwest highway in Grapevine called Bohemian Bull. Anybody been yet?

I went to Bohemian Bull last week. I really liked it and will be going back. Not the best burger I have ever had, but definitely the best burger within a few miles of Coppell.

My only complaint was that the smashbuger was still a little bit thick for my preference. Otherwise tasted great, and fast service.

If only FnG Eats in Keller still had the bison burger on the menu…..
