I have a good friend whose father will need to go to a memory care facility. They need to figure out how to handle his house and assets so that they are protected and are not taken by the facility or for taxes. Does anyone have a good recommendation?

Maybe post on the Business & Investing board as well as legal questions get answered there frequently.

You friend may be limited in what they can do now as there are some clawback provisions to prevent assets from being hidden if any government assistance is expected or involved.
