My wife and I returned from vacation at the beginning of this month to a slab leak under our master bathroom that proceeded to flood the subfloor area and caused lots of damage to vanity/tub area and flooring.
We have completed mitigation and drying out to salvage what we could. We are still without water as the plumbers are working the job from 2 sides (excavation originally, now changing to a full reroute job above ground). The project is not covered by insurance due to the slab leak situation.
We have discussed doing bathroom remodels before, but if we are going to do now is the time. We are looking for home renovation and/or general contractor to help us design/estimate/perform this project. We are looking to move very quickly as we are tearing out the previous vanity and would love our bathroom back!
