No clue if it's any good or not, but Jinya ramen bar is right there in victory park so it would be super convenient.

Wabi House is amazing. Moved up to McKinney a few years back and it's in my top 3 restaurants I miss the most from Dallas.

I have dinned at Hinodeya. Very good.

Also there's a cool bar near Hinodeya... Libertine Bar.

If you want Asian near the AAC Uchi is far and away the best option. Uchiba is the upstairs portion that's also a good option for a quicker or more casual bite.

It's pretty good, and extremely walkable from the AAC. Highly suggest doing that just to make it easier

Tried The Mexican last week. It's relatively new in the Design District. It was really great. Not easy to get a reservation though.
