Howdy all,

My youngest daughter is in her last semester of college at UTA and is applying to OT school. As part of her application she needs a certain amount of hours shadowing an OT. She has 20 hours to get and had it all lined up but the lady cancelled on her due to a conflict and is now leaving the country for two weeks. Daughter needs her hours over the next two weeks and is desperately trying to find an OT that she can shadow. It has to be one OT (no "mix and match") and it can't be an assistant.

Is anyone here an OT (or knows of one) that my kiddo could shadow for 20 hours over the next couple weeks?

She's a great kid, on the dean's list, etc. She is available any time after 12 on MWF and after 2 on Tu-Th. She can also do weekend hours if available.

She lives in the Grapevine/Southlake/Mid-Cities area but will obviously go where needed.

Our baylor outpatient facilities allow 20 hours of observation. Several of our facilities have OT but the larger ones are Tom Landry and The Star. If she goes up to one that has OT and asks in person I gaurentee they will let her do it.

Edit to add there's a facility in Grapevine with OT. I can put her in contact with the manager if needed.

My friend will ask her work Monday.
