So the house we bought...for some reason...they had no logs in the fireplace....few years later we are ready to fill it in before the winter.

Curious if there are any recommended places to go look. I have googled and will likely go to several but just wondering about personal experiences, etc.

Also if anyone does not mind sharing pricing i would appreciate it. We have the gas connection and they have the "holding grate"...so hopefully looking at just logs + clean up / connection check + rocks or whatever to finish out the look. Might look into having the chimney cleaned up too but not sure if that is done by installers or separate groups....


ETA: The name probably gives it away but we are in Plano and obviously don't mind going to Dallas or Frisco....FW only if its an amazing place that is aggie owned....

I bought ours from efireplace.com. They have a huge selection ranging from full setups to small parts and were recommended by the guy who installed our new setup. They shipped fast and probably cheaper than a physical store.

Wife has been shopping around...she went to Elegant Fire Place the other day and Yard Art Patio today.

Elegant....about $1,300 with install, tax, etc.

Yard Art Patio....about $600 with install, tax, etc.

Now i have to get more info on the reason for the differences but definitely like Yard Art Patio pricing especially since it will be in our formal living which likely won't be used much....
