Working now and I've never heard the first two songs. Pissed I missed Whiplash. Get a free movie and full refund though. So that's nice.

Well that was a blast. Time to head back down to south and work! It was a pleasure meeting a couple of you guys at Texas Live! before the concert.

Hoping to check off at least one that I haven't seen before (not counting the new album).
There are 2 songs from each of KEA, RTL and MOP I haven't seen, 5 from AJFA, 4 from black, and 16 from R/RL.., 3 from DM and 6 from HTSD

I'm hopeful I'll get at least one. Considering the theater release, I'm hoping they debut a new R/RL song like they did at MTF.

I got to check off 3 new to me songs over the weekend! Totally happy with that.
Ride The Lightning (which leaves only escape I haven't seen of RTL)
Lepper Messiah (which leaves only damage inc off MOP)
and Whisky in the Jar.

New total 84 songs.

Man, the 3 run song openers on both shows was absolutely fantastic.

We lost our minds in the 300 level when they busted into Lepper Messiah.

Sitting in the united club and in walks the singer of ice nine kills.
He spotted my met shirt so we struck up a Conversation, he's talking about it's a trip to grow up loving metallica and now he's opening for them, and they are really hospitable to the openers.
He was on his way to houston for their off show this week, flying first class, must not be too bad of a gig they got going.
Definitely better than a van!

I definitely passed on Ice Nine Kills and 5 Finger. Grabbed a beer and a tshirt and sat in my seat 10 mins before The Good Bad and The Ugly came on.
