There is a lot more space on that side, but the other side was pretty much jammed to the back railing.

I'm sure they could only sell so many GA tickets due to fire hazards, no way they could entirely fill all that area up, especially with the inner pit inside the stage.

The stadium was pretty damn packed I thought. Had to have been at least 85,000 people there.

The Tallica boys rocked night 1, excited for part 2 on Sunday!

Way back when tickets went on sale, I bought a pair of floor seats through StubHub for my son and me. I overpaid for them, but my son is a huge Metallica fan, so worth it to me.

On Tuesday, I got an email from StubHub that my ticket transfer had been cancelled by the seller. I was given the option of either replacing the tickets or getting a full refund. I looked on StubHub and saw a pair of floor seats for less than what I originally paid, so I bought the second pair and got a refund on the first pair.

On Wednesday, the seller cancelled the transaction again, this time on the second pair. I got through to StubHub Helpdesk, and they got me a refund for the second pair. I then bought a third pair - for less than the second pair (so now I've traded down twice and was currently paying less than half of the original ticket price.

My third pair of tickets were supposed to be delivered by Thursday night. As of Friday morning, I still didn't have the tickets. At 8:30 am, I was on the phone AGAIN with StubHub. They told me they would send me to the group handling missing tickets, and I would get an email offering (a) replacement seats or (b) a full refund.

Before the replacement seat email arrives, however, I get an email that my seller of ticket set #3 is ready to transfer my tickets. I accept the tickets and immediately notice that the tickets say they are for August 20 (Sunday), not August 18 (today).

MOTHER TRUCKER!!!!!'

Then I look a little more closely, and the fine print saves the day and makes this finally all worthwhile:

"Ticket is valid for both dates, August 18 and August 20."

Score.

the flames and pyro of fuel scared the **** out of us (and I've seen fuel 6-7 times so I know it's coming.)
