WHO IS GOING?!

Coming from Austin. What's a good decent place to stay not far from AT&T?

Saw them at Southpark Meadows (RIP) back in 94, memorable day.

Loews is very nice and is literally next door to the stadium.

Then you can see it at your local movie theater those nights.

Always good, saw them the first time in 89 @ Starplex with The Cult. Great show, lots of fires on the lawn.

There's a Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn on E Lamar across I30 from ATT. I think both are decent options. Have fun! I saw them at ACL a few. years ago and it was a really good show.

We there as well. About 6 rows from the stage. Loudest concert I've ever been to. Awesome. But loud.

I'll be going the 18th and 20th. Big Metallica fan but even bigger Pantera fan so even though it's 1/2 of Pantera on Friday, I can't wait to see them. They picked just about the perfect 2 fill-ins for Vinnie and Dime.

I've tried not to spoil too much, but the short clips I couldn't avoid have looked like it's going to be pretty awesome. Zakk Wylde was the obvious guitar fill-in since he was so close to Dime and has the playing ability of Zakk Wylde. Charlie Benante was an awesome choice for drums too. Zakk has been very vocal about it being a Pantera tribute and not Pantera too which is cool. I have a feeling we may get some badass collaboration from Metallica and the Pantera tribute with it being in Pantera's backyard.

Haha ignore that dude. The people getting bent out of shape over this not being actual Pantera are the ones who are negative about everything. We don't have Vinnie and Dime, it sucks. We're gonna get to see half of Pantera (I'll even concede these are the two least important pieces of Pantera left) play Pantera tunes with a couple of metal legends filling in. It's gonna be awesome still, I'll take what Pantera I can get.

Good friend of mine met Wolf at the LA Taylor Hawkins tribute show. Said he was super cool. I got to meet his old man once. Talk about an adrenaline rush shaking hands with EVH. Hope it works out for you.

My dad asked if I wanted to go see Powerman 5000 on Wednesday night. I really don't listen to their stuff but man they were great live. Awesome show! I don't really see my dad often so it was fun.

Was the Taylor Hawkins tribute show played by a band called Foo Fighters?

My connection to Mammoth VH is that one of my best buddies is in a heavy band down in the Houston area and MVH's sound guy has produced a few of their records. My buddy has played with Powerman in the last 5 years, had drinks at a local bar with them afterwards and said they were nice as could be.

Yep! We took some photos after the show and they were really nice.

Come and Take It Live in Austin is a super tiny place but well designed and never felt cramped. Sound was on point for sure.

Does anyone know how to see what the set list on the concert nights? I read that it says "no song played twice" or something like that.

Not sure if it's hidden from fans or readily accessible
