FYI I'm north of the lake.

We have a Claffey pool that came with the house. I have been happy with the design and quality on what is now a 10+ yo pool.

Have experience with Riverbend on several model homes and with customer builds and they do an excellent job as wlell.

Both are expensive. BTW - Claffey is over in Colleyville so FloMo / Grapevine is front and center for them (we are in FloMo for reference).

Claffey & Riverbend got bought out recently, I believe by the same investment company as Pulliam did.

I believe the family is still running it, but they now answer to the balance sheet instead of themselves.

Did not know that but you are correct. Looks like Claffey's will remain active I assume under some sort of earn out so would hope the focus on not just the books but the design, quality and service. Hope.

In Southlake. Had Outdoor Dynamics design and give us a quote. His design was amazing and knocked it out of the park. Was able to put it all on a screen of what it and the house would look like.

It was expensive and we didn't end up using him as we put money into another property but he was great and really put my wife's idea to the design.

I talked to Riverbend today actually. They don't serve the FloMo area, but referred me to their "sister company" Claffey - so that matches up.

I think you will be in good hands. The PE company that bought them looks to be centered on SMB companies with existing ops and good reputations / ethics, so maybe not your typical hatchet guys that many private equity guys are.

If you move forward, gotta keep us updated on the design and build.
