The tiles are falling off my pool. I am looking for someone to look at the pool and spa and see if they can be fixed, or re-tile the whole pool if needed. I am in McKinney, so a company in the northern metroplex would be preferable.

Any suggestions?

It's not that hard to re-tile and grout a few tiles yourself. I had about 25 come loose/off when my pool froze during the 2022 freeze. The pool company had a minimum $ value to come out. I think it was $1000 for just those 25. I fixed them in about 2 hours for about $100 in materials.

I'd recommend using epoxy grout when you reset them so they seal against the plaster since that seal will now be broken.

Billy just did a complete retile and plaster of my circa 2008 pool. Did great job and price was more than competitive. I was shocked how quick his crew worked. They drained, demoed, retiled, replastered, and had the pool refilled in 4 days.

Just did this (reattached the tiles). Right now I need dark grey grout to get it match. I used a product called Underwater Magic if I remember correctly. I basically used that epoxy to seal it in, probably too much that I should probably paint the product instead of grouting.

Billy came out and we immediately knew he was the guy.
Fare price, great knowledge, great crew, start to finish was 8 days to replace coping, tile, pebbletec, lights.

I too am now in the process of getting bids to replaster the pool.

How did you decide on the PebbleTec surface?

I reached out to a few companies I found via Google and Billy (Title Concepts) was one of them. I did not know he was an Aggie at the time. However, he just had me send some pictures of the pool and gave me a quote off that.

I also contacted a company called Luxor Pool and the owner (Terry Miller) said he's also an Aggie.

Anyway... just looking for advice on selecting a company and going with the right product.

Product depends on personal preference and how much you want to spend. We previously had pebble tech so knew that. Wife considered pebble sheen and plain plaster.

After you decide what finish, you have to decide what color you want the water to be (green, blue, light, dark) as the color of the plaster/finish will dictate that. Wife actually customized the pebbles to get the color she wanted.

I'd say look at pics, pools and get a feel. Billy's Facebook has tons of pics. We also told him to use us as a reference, bring folks by to look if needed.
