I had a problem with my AC yesterday and since it was the end of Memorial Day, I called a company to come out and check it. (the story is on the Reliant Air Conditioning thread). This technician gave me 5 options each with varying degrees of expense including replacing the system. They quoted over $1000 to recharge the system.
Jesus, the owner of Imperial Heating and Air Conditioning, came out today, recharged the system for HALF of the other quote and told me there was no need to replace the system at this time.
Jesus is young and very professional. He does work for a builder in the area and told me that he is always less expensive when quoting these projects.
