Just got word that Propertytax.io lowered my market value $123k in Denton county, and lowered the land value as well. Didn't help my taxes this year, but brought our market value back down to earth and a lot more than I thought would happen. Didn't know how the website would do, but not bad. Was expecting them to maybe take off 10-15k max.

I didn't see it on their website, but on dentoncad.com. Market value was lowered significantly but no notification yet from anyone.

Same. We got a 5% decrease. Still higher than I would like but it's probably about where we could sell fortunately/unfortunately.

Used Tiffany ($500)…got nothing…except her form letter and "we'll try again next year". Not suggesting it wasn't worth the effort, but I could have showed up and gotten the same result.

Depending on where you are, I'm not sure we can expect huge cuts this year. My personal experience doing this is that we got a huge cut in year 1 that we did it and subsequent years were much smaller or no change.

Totally anecdotal but I'm not hearing too many stories about wins here in the last two years with the insanity that has been Texas urban markets.

I've been using North Texas Property Tax Services for 3 years, they only charge if they are successful in lowering and have lowered it each year.

Looks like my group got about $17K knocked off my January appraisal notification. I haven't seen official word yet besides seeing that my market value on the site page is lower than what was in the notice.

Used Ownwell to knock off 10% from my value (land value is around 2/3rds of my value so they did pretty well), they didn't charge anything because I'm homestead capped below the end valuation.This is my second year using them and they got 5% knocked off last year, was also homestead capped then so I paid nothing.

Gonna be homestead capped again next year even with the new valuation so they're gonna have a hard time beating that again.

My brother used them and also got 10% knocked off. Think he actually saved a little money.

still waiting in Collin County. last year, my review wasn't until January 2023, maybe they will work faster this year. I am using OwnWell as well. I will be homestead capped as well but any little bit helps for next year!
