I'm trying to gauge what time I need to get there on Saturday night. I assume it's going to be bat**** crazy. Doors open at 6, but wasn't sure if it's so insane that people were lined up well before that.

Doesn't the show start at 10? If I don't care about getting to the front of the stage is it crazy to wait until about 9 to go in?

I don't know. This is a weird one considering they sold out three shows in less than 5 minutes. I know someone is opening up for them. For reference here's what's going on tonight. I just want to know how big of a zoo it is. I don't want to go at 6PM.

I'd get there to see Mike and the Moonpies

The Thursday night show started an hour earlier than the Friday/Saturday show.

I'll be camping out at 7am Saturday morning.

I'm planning on getting there by 6:30 or 7 tonight and hoping for the best.

I got there at 9 but was in the premium pit and this is where I was.If you're GA and want good seats get there about an hour prior to opening with some friends,( there will be a line) and y'all lock down a good area per another group of my friends that did exactly that. It was packed last night and anybody who had good Ga seats got there at the opening or was a hot girl.

How many people would you guess are in premium pit vs regular GA? The online seating chart when we bought tickets made them look about equal in size, but I would hope premium pit is slightly less packed. We have a big group and don't care about being front and center, but won't be able to get there too early since we have dinner reservations at 6:45.

When you say get there at open, do you mean at 6? My wife surprised me with GA tickets but man I wish I could upgrade to the tables!

No tables in the pit, standing only. Pit was very packed if you were within 60 feet of the stage when TT went on. It loosened up a little as the show went on. It was a little loose towards the periphery of the pit.

The entire place was packed. I guess (emphasis on guess) there was 1000 people in the premium pit, another 1000 in the regular bit and another couple of thousand watching in the wings.

I just know two sets of people who had good seats in GA got there at opening and they said there was a line when they showed up

I've got (2), potentially (4) tix for sale this evening if anyone is interested.

How long did they play? Read they did 90 minutes including one encore at Cain's so curious if they're playing the same length.

Seeing them in a couple weeks in Houston.

We got there at 930 and had no problem getting drinks and to our spot in plenty of time. Definitely wasn't early enough to get close to the stage. I'd say they played about 90 minutes, maybe a little less. They started the set about 1015 and were finished between 1130 and 1145.

Got in line here at 7:30am. I'm almost a case in already

Ha. We ended up getting there about 8:15 and were fine. That concert was badass. When down in the pit you could hardly hear them playing because the fans were singing so loud.

Turnpike was fantastic and the crowd was incredibly loud/fun but I think billy bobs oversold the number of "pit" tickets, and calling it "pit" was kind of a joke. The main "pit" section we were in was pretty far back behind the "preferred pit". And if you weren't in the first 8 rows of the regular pit like we were able to, or very tall, you were going to have a very hard time seeing anything. The "pit" should have been called "main general admission" and the general admission called something like "side view ga". If I pay over $120 for what's called a "pit" ticket, shouldn't be so difficult to even see the stage. Can't imagine how all the thousands of pit people under 6ft behind us saw much. That's not what pit means for concerts.

Billy Bobs has always been a horrible place to see a concert if you aren't up front. We got there at 9 and had a great spot but I imagine half of the people jammed in there couldn't see the band at all.

Ultimately Turnpike was throwing Billy Bob's a bone. Demand-wise show likely should have been at Dickies or TMF.

They did reserved for Miranda and it was a far more enjoyable experience.
