I'm taking my wife for a night in Dallas for her birthday - we are staying at the W and having dinner over at a restuarant at Klyde Warren Park. I had planned to walk over there in the afternoon (visiting Perot museum) but was wondering if it's safe to walk back at night, or should we plan to try out uber?

I live in that area. It is certainly safe and much too short of a trip for Uber with their minimum charge.
