I'm planning on doing a 40 lb. boil on Sunday (weather permitting) and wondering where are some of the places you've been happy with ordering live crawfish from in the Dallas area.

In the past I've used Captain Dave's in Plano, Kroger's and Fiesta.

Any others that you recommend? tia

I bought 70 pounds from Sima Foods at Commerce and 30 two weeks ago. Good quality for 2.50 a pound. It's a sketchy looking establishment, but it's totally legit.

Another +1 for Cajun Crawfish Co. However, make sure you arrange to pick them up some time when you don't run into rush hour traffic on 35 towards Lewisville.

2nd Sima. Used them a bunch. Cajun Crawfish is great but Sima is usually at least .25 per lb. cheaper than Cajun Crawfish Co.

Just a warning, cajun crawfish co uses a TON of clove in their boil spice. If you like clove, by all means try it out. It wasn't my thing personally.

I like Nates Turbo, and do suggest Cajun CC due to their easy to get to location(they also deliver to grapevine as well).

+2 for Cajun Crawfish, ask for David tell him your an Aggie and oldschool sent you!

You can call up until noon on Friday... and then pickup Saturday morning between 9 and 11. Its better to call as soon as you know. But, it is what it is.
