Today was the first day I've ever had Cafe Brazil. We got there around lunch time, there were 2 other tables sat. We were seated, given menus and sat there for 30 minutes talking without the waiter approaching to take our order. I finally got up and asked if I was supposed to order at the bar or is there a waiter, they blamed it on some kind of miscommunication because there was only 1 waiter on duty.
Now I've waited tables back in college, I realize stuff happens, although what kind of idiot realizes he is the only waiter on duty and sees a table sitting down and NOT approach or at least ask. Regardless, they take our food and drink order(after finally getting someone over there), they bring the drinks, they bring our food and never approach the table again. Seriously, they wouldn't even come ask if we were ready for the check, I just about walked out of the place. I had to get up out of my seat, find the waiter again, and ask for the check. This was the first time I've stiffed a waiter. I'll give a bad tip for bad service, I will not give a tip for no service.
