wow, glad i've never eaten there...that pictures makes me want to throw up.
I don't know what's more disgusting, the fly or the sandwich itself.
Which location? I love that place. And how the eff does that happen? They make the sandwiches right in front of you as you watch.
It was my first time to eat there, and it's the location on Greenville Ave between Lovers and Southwestern. The sandwich is a philly cheesesteak, so they make it in the back and bring it out to you. It's not made in front of you like the cold sandwiches.
They should rename it Jersey Mike's Entomology Lab.
That sucks to no end. I've never eaten at a location in DFW but really like J Mike's.
I hate saying it but that just looks like something that was done on purpose by some clown in the back. No way they missed that when they were making it.

That's disappointing. I used to meet a friend for lunch there all the time a few years ago (the only reason we stopped is because his office moved north and we had to adjust our midpoint).
Luckily I always got the deli sandwiches that they make in front of you, but he would get the BBQ beef sometimes.

The manager refunded my money and gave me a coupon for a free sandwich. I'm not sure that coupon will ever get used.
Had the same issue at Rice Boxx in Legacy Park about a month ago. Off the list.

Thats gross, but I wouldn't condemn all Jersey Mikes because of this. Unfortunately this happens more than you would know, and with the drought we are having, I imagine there are a lot more insects flocking inside for water, food, etc. than ever before.

I've eaten at this same location on Greenville Ave literally dozens of times and always felt it was clean and tidy. Hopefully this is a one time occurrance. My personal experience has been positive.
I love Jersey Mike's. I doubt that is a solid representation of their product.
WTF does your sandwich look like the inside of someone colon after they ate a pecan pie? That looks like **** even if the bug wasn't in there.

Same here. The one in Las Colinas is owned by an Aggie. I'll take your free sandwich coupon if you don't want it.
I like Jimmy Johns...for my sub indulgences. Not sure if they have a Philly though.

I love the one at Preston Center......that could and HAS happened at most restaurants. Its best to just not think about.
i'm sure we'd all be surprised how many meals we eat every week that has crap in it, maybe not a full-bodied fly, but gross as hell nonetheless

This is unavoidable. If you've never had a bug inside a pizza box count yourself lucky because they love to live inside the corrugated cardboard.
The store can spend gobs on electronic fly traps and spray monthly and you can never get them all. Just have to hope the employees are very attentive.

Look at me, I'm a litigous freeloader. Geez, it's a bug, it happens. Guarantee everyone on this board has eaten one in their food this month. Bring it to the attention of the manager and let them fix it. Why do we feel the need to sue for everything?
