I'm picking someone up tomorrow, I'm coming in from New Braunfels and figured I'd wait in the cell phone lot. I tried googling where it is but couldn't find it. Does anyone know if DFW has a cell phone waiting lot? Since they're coming in from Delta, I think that's in terminal E, if there is no cell phone waiting lot should I park in the express parking south? Thanks in advance!

Just drive up to the arrival section/ramp of Terminal E. There's a free parking lot on the left side that you can park in until your friend arrives. I park there for business when I work with people who are coming from out of town. Be aware that you will have to pay a "pass through" toll at DFW, it will only be $1 if you're there for a short time i.e you're just passing through.

I live close to the airport but I can honestly say that I have never heard of a cell phone lot. I know that at the North entrance cars just pull over on the shoulder before they enter the toll gate. I assume you will be entering at the south entrance & you could do the same or you can just go directly to the terminal. There will be parking spaces (short term parking) that are available & you just pay when you exit the toll booth. The charge is based on how much time you were there.

Pulling over there is illegal. Every gate has a parking lot for arrivals that will likely have ample space. Just follow the signs.

The key is to time it perfectly, and then just keep driving around in circles through the terminal. Hopefully you will only have to do 2-3 cycles.

There is one on the south side in the median area - before you enter the toll booth area IIRC.
