I'm on a mission to find some good breakfast tacos in Dallas. Anyone know of any around the Lakewood/Lake Highlands area?

I have heard that the taco place on Peak and gaston is supposed to have really good breakfast tacos. I Have never been though and it is in the ghetto. Might stop in some time though on my way to work to check them out. Other than that I have nothing.

Also should be noted that I am pumped for the Gomez concert in only a few long weeks.

Ditto. Try the bacon, bean and cheese breakfast taco.....and put the jalapeno ranch sauce on it...ummmm good.

Plus the owners actually try to get to know your name. Go in more than twice and they've got it down.

Double ditto. I miss Taco Joint I think more than any other restaurant in Dallas. We started going there in August or so. The SECOND time I went in, the owner called out to me as I walked in to the door. It was almost scary. I probably went 4 or 5 times before I moved to Houston last September. I've been back two or three times since then and the owner still remembers my name and what I've got going on even though he hasn't seen me in months.

The owners are really good dudes.

Los Lupes has great breakfast tacos, served all day, not sure if there's one in your area though.

Taco Joint also has a great lunch menu.

I also recommend Taco Joint.

La Marketa at the Farmer's Market has the best.
