Ate there for lunch today. First time in awhile. I f'in LOVE that place. How did a place like that, with all the cheese and ranch dressing, not make it in a college town? I'll never understand that.

It wasn't Snuffers fault. It was in the Location of Death. You could open a Free Money Give Away store and it would fail in that location.

There used to be a Snuffer's in College Station....!!???

I love their unstable method of table service because while sure, you might not ever see the same person twice, you always have someone stopping by your table.

I live down the street from one and work near another so I probably eat there once every two or three weeks.

It isn't the greatest food in the world but its pretty solid for what it is. I don't get their burgers anymore. Their spicy chicken strips are where it is at.

I'd rather go to Chili's.

I like to like dumb ranch dressing on top and then head straight to the hospital for bypass surgury after eating.

When they first started the chain my dad went there for lunch one day. Not being one to hold back an opinion he flagged down the manager.

"This is a really great restaurant. I really enjoyed it and think it could do very well, but the name has to go. It's just awful."

"I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm Pat Snuffer."

Snuffers = salt burgers.

And to let the masses know... Trinity Hall's cheese fries rocks Snuffers "world."

I only eat at the one on greenville. I dont like the one in plano at all.

Wow...and here I thought I just had a bad experience with a heavy handed cook. I thought the salt was OVERPOWERING and if that's how they always are probably won't be making it back.

either you have too many meal interruptions OR you end up having nobody stop by because all of the servers assume that someone else has checked the table. dumb.

I am not a fan. I used to eat at the one on Greenville when I was at SMU fairly often, but is probably the best one. The one in Rockwall is pretty terrible, and other than cheese fries, they really dont offer that much worth eating. The one in Rockwall will fail like many other places before it have. There have been many sports bar/burger/lake joints in that same location as well as where the Lsrry North now is and they all ended up failing because they eventually became more of the after the lake drunk hang out spot. A place like that needs the regular business of people other than bar patrons on the weekend.

Eh, I like it. Great cheese fries, and I like salty burgers. Plus, they actually don't overcook them like a lot of other places. We went to one I'd never been to before. North Dallas shopping center somewhere. I didn't drive.

I've been to the Greenville one, the Plano one, and the Rockwall one. All are great.

And yes, it was in a cursed location in CS, but it WAS the cursed location. That building was built as a Snuffers. After that went by the wayside, the longest I remember one thing being there was The Ditch.

I eat at the one near Preston Center once every couple of weeks. I like it. Where was the CS location?

Not a fan. The cheese fries are good, but the burgers are extremely overrated and I've received more slightly cool draft beer at Snuffers than any other restaurant. Cheap bastages need to crank the cooler thermostat down.

I think these two quotes are probably related. Some things shouldn't be pink on the inside - restaurant burgers are one of them. Snuffers is king of the pink burger.
