Ok, so this chick Jenn (aka Jennifer Royal) is on The Ticket right now claiming that she and a college buddy were paid $1,000 each to stage a Cheaters episode for them. Is the whole thing rigged? Didn't Joey Greco get knifed? This is incredible. I am in shock. My brother saw a high school friend on there one time and felt like it was pretty legit. Do they only hire people every now and then or what? This is the biggest news I've heard all week. Way bigger than the primary results. I don't tivo Cheaters or anything, but I ALWAYS stop down to watch and see if I recognize the various places around Dallas that they film. One time it was filmed at the Furr's down the street from my old house.

Someone took their mistress to Furr's. That's awesome.

I knew a guy in college at A&M that was on the show and he got the everliving hell beat out of him by his gf. He was gushing blood. I dont think that one was fake.

Some probably are fake some might be real.

dont be alarmed, but a lot of Real World, Road Rules, Big Brother, and just about everything else on TV also has some script to it!

I also know someone who appeared on the show....she was paid (not sure how much) and everything was scripted...even rehearsed scenes multiple times before they were shot.

That's really surprising to me. If you've ever seen a show then you've got to have a hard time believing that these white trash folk can act.

One of my favorite Cheaters moments:

They roll into a packed black club about to bust a cheater. You hear someone in the background, as they recognize the Cheaters crew, yell "Ohhhh, Cheaters!"

My favorite one is when the couple gets busted in the park naked in the back seat of the car. The guy gets out and says "What ? We were just talking."

Yes, at least some of them are fake. My wife and I were approached in an Uptown bar and asked if we would participate for $1,000 each.

Gotta love the clip (I think it is during opening credits)... where some chick's panties gets thrown onto a car's dashboard in broad daylight... keeping it "real." Keeping it classy.
