CCA Austin is hosting our 3rd annual bourbon night on February 19, 2026 at the Warren Wildlife Gallery, just south of the river. Attendees at the event will be greeted with a wide variety of bourbons for tasting and food provided by Verdes Mexican Parilla. We will also be holding a raffle with a roughly 1 in 5 chance of winning a whiskey/bourbon package with the top packages including Pappy, Weller, Stagg, and Blantons. Winners for the raffle need not be present to win.

Be warned that you are provided with tasting tickets for more than you should drink if you will be driving.

I was invited by Mike Loughrey (I think he is a CCA board member), and I will be attending with a buddy of mine from work.

Looking forward to meeting some fellow TexAgs posters there.

Food was really good last year (make sure you get some) and the taxidermy is pretty insane. Have a couple of drinks then walk through and it's a trip.

Mike is absolutely a board member and a great guy. His company (MoveCorp) does a lot of charitable work in the Austin area and he is a big reason our banquets are so successful.

There aren't too many Ags on the board, so if you come across someone in a CCA Austin shirt with a ring on, it's likely me.

I had no idea the Warren Wildlife Gallery was even there until I joined the board. They are a great partner to many of the Austin conservation groups and the CCA values our relationship with them greatly.

I would encourage anyone in Austin to make an appointment to check out their gallery when they have some free time. I've sent many people their way and everyone walks away in awe.

I know the location is a tax on the neighborhood, but we try and be good stewards of their facility while present. If you haven't been around the giraffe on the hour, that is always a surprise to new attendees.
