Flying to Ohio at 7:00 am on Saturday morning. Then flying to McAllen next Wednesday morning. TSA at IAH in Houston is really messed up; thought I'd ask about Austin as I rarely fly out of there. I have TSA pre check but my daughter doesn't (she's flying with me on Saturday).

Flew out Wednesday around 12:00. No noticeable changes and the airport was strangely busy. Have TSA and it was actually quicker than normal.

ABIA has had a couple of ground delays since the shutdowns. I would assume they were at least somewhat related.

I'd assume the worst. And hope for the best.

Just came thru ABIA today around 12:30. No precheck or clear. Took me 4 minutes from walking in the airport until thru security. Best I've ever had. Do with that what you will.

I was there a few weeks ago pre shutdown for a 7am flight and security was worst I've ever seen.

Security was a breeze this morning, maybe a 10 minute wait. This is the quickest it's been in a while.

Flew out Thursday no issues - in fact it may have been pretty fast if you have TSA pre. The issue I had was getting back home, both airports coming back home security only had one gate open, stacked rows of people trying to get through (even with TSA Pre or Clear). Also, lots of flights and delays last night out of North East.

Came through ABIA for the second time in a few days just now. TSA pre ran very quickly just now. The previous trip was on Friday morning at 5:30 and it was pretty easy then, too.
