Can anyone recommend a good orthopedic surgeon in the area?

I am going to need shoulder surgery and maybe a replacement soon. Thanks

Dr. Edward Seade. He works at my gym and is a good guy. He does a lot of shoulder surgeries.

I just underwent shoulder replacement surgery Tuesday (17th). I researched Ortho doc's till I was blue in the face and settled on Dr. Ryan Tibbetts with Texas Orthopedics. Checkout his bio on their website. He's well qualified and experienced (especially with shoulders), AND...he's an Aggie grad! I felt pretty comfortable about my choice when, while in pre-op prep, I ask my attending nurse..."so, Dr. Tibbetts does a lot of procedures here? (Seton/Ascension Kyle) and she said..."OHHH yeah! He's known as THE shoulder doc around here".

I was off my main pain med, except some occasional ibuprofen and/or acetaminophen, at day 3. The most pain I've had has been no more than a "2" (on a 10 scale). And, btw, I had an anatomical replacement instead of a reverse.

So, pick whoever you want. But Dr. Tibbetts would be my recommendatio. I'm sure there's others just as good. Oh, did I mention he was an Aggie grad??
