Howdy guys, my daughter wants me to take her to a concert at emos in Austin. Never been. She's 15. What's this place like, parking close, safe?

We would accompany her and her friends.

If you get there early enough there is a lot of parking on the side. Just be extremely careful because certain spots belong to certain businesses and they will boot your car.

Emo's itself is just kind of a wide open garage type situation. It's perfectly safe. I'd obviously still accompany a 15 year old, but you've got nothing to worry about. Depending on who it is maybe stay towards the back unless you're down for moshing.

I enjoy the new venue a lot. Saw Old 97's there last Christmas.

Completely safe. Agree with the moshing if that will happen with who you are seeing, but inside and outside of the venue yall will be safe.

It's on Riverside now which isn't a great area but it is perfectly safe. There is a Cane's across the street if you get hungry.

In fact, when I was 16 I went to the old Emo's downtown without any parental supervision.
