Howdy All,
I'm looking for recommendations for a CPA. Georgetown preferred but willing to drive if they are awesome.

I'm a doctor with 3 practices so multiple revenue streams. W-2, 1099 income. Have land in a family trust with me as trustee. Need tax strategy, estate planning, maybe a defined benefit plan, the works.

Thank you!

I drive up from Bastrop to see Patrick Ward in Round Rock once a year. Knows his stuff. We're not as complex as you are but he's handled all of our issues easily. He's gotten several of my friends out of tax jambs that other CPAs didn't catch.

In my experience, accounting firms are great at bookkeeping , tax return prep, and business formation structures (i.e. corp vs sole proprietor) but it is an exception when they are also great at tax planning.

It is self serving for me to say as a planner but what you likely need is a financial planner for most of the issues you list, probably partnered with a CPA and an estate attorney.
