Anyone have recommendations in the Round Rock area? We are searching for our 4-year old son. Appreciate your help.

We have used River Kids. It doesnt matter who you choose, it will require legwork on your part to setup. If you kid is in preschool, I'd ask the preschool if they have a provider who comes on site, that makes it much easier. I was a skeptic, but now I think OT is awesome and we saw tremendous gains from using it.

Thanks. Unfortunately, no assistance with the preschool and his primary care doctor recommended a facility in Northwest Georgetown that we visited yesterday. It is just too far of a haul with 3 kids in school and all after school slots full.

I have no clue how this will all work having to take him out of school each time, but a closer facility would be a good start.

Mighty Kids Therapy off University. They've just finished an expansion so they might be taking on new patients. Owner is an Aggie.

If your son is 4, was he 4 before Sept 1? Might be able to put him in RRISD pre-k and they will do OT on site as part of the 504.

Dealing with the school on the 504 piece can be another headache is no sure thing. We found school OT has a much higher requirement than insurance OT, my wife is in pedi nuero, I'll ask if she knows anyone up there

I appreciate the help. The facility in GT continues to reach out for scheduling, but I would prefer to not start and have to move him.

My 8 yr old daughter goes to the following:

Capital Area Speech & Occupational Therapy
Empathy Nutrition Therapy

Both have been great especially Captial Area Speech

We found it super challenging to find anyone that had openings, didn't have luck with any of the clinics and just ended up on wait lists. Had someone highly recommended that was about to go on maternity leave so we ended up seeing her once then waiting a few months, just started back a few weeks ago.

Don't have her info handy but can get it if you're interested (we're in Leander right next to RR).

Strive Health Services is a home health agency out of Georgetown that provides Pediatric OT across the Austin area.

Bright spot pediatrics. They have a clinic in Leander, but have OTs that do mobile as well. I think round rock would be in their service area
