Any good spots to check out or bad spots to avoid?

Or is it even worth pursuing? I've had the same boots going on 10 years and I am contemplating either getting these refurbished a bit or if that's cost prohibitive maybe buying new.

Check out this place. Have had them rework a couple pairs of Luccheses and they did good work. One pair did require me to go back and have them do it again, but they got it right.
