Anyone else having trouble with Spectrum Internet this afternoon? I'm seeing on Reddit that the outage is city wide, possibly even statewide. Has anyone had success on getting a timeline on restoring it?

I think it's out over a large area. Possibly Spectrum got hacked?

It appears to be statewide according to the announcement they posted on X.

Was fine at work today in Austin. Now in Kyle and out.

Out at at least two major semiconductor companies.

I've been meaning to cancel and go back to AT&T. This might the kick in the pants to do that.

Getting a sporadic 1Mbps. Just enough to crash your hotspot connection and get Alexa online.

I'm up and running!

Back on here too. When it wasn't back on by 4, I basically wrote the afternoon off and went to happy hour with the wife. Made for a pretty unproductive Tuesday.

The chic fil a in bee cave shut down this afternoon due to no internet

The covert gmc dealer in bee cave was at a standstill in the service department. Apparently they couldn't even dispense oil as their fluid gun system is somehow tied to the internet. Lots of state agencies were cooked today as well. Pretty worrisome how much of the structure of our society relies on a few companies keeping the lights on…..

At 7:36 AM, I received a Spectrum Service Alert that the outage affecting my area is taking longer than expected to fix. I live in the West Campus area.
