Water company has been charging us for a 1.6 gallon/ hour leak since last September. We turned the water off and their meter showed 0.01 - 0.04 gallons/minute leak. We turned the water off at the meter and it showed 0.00. We turned it back on at the meter and it now correctly shows 0.00. We have been getting billed for a faulty meters bad data. Checked the meter out and they are only accurate from 0.05 - 166 gallons/minute above 34 degrees Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, we replaced every water fixture in the house. Arg.
